Sack gabions are cylindrical baskets made of 8X10 or 6X8 double twisted steel woven wire mesh. Sack gabions are supplied with steel reinforcing wires inserted during the production process to facilitate closing during installation.
The steel wire used in the manufacture of the sack gabion is heavily HDG, Zn-Al alloy coated (5%Al or 10%Al) and/or PVC/PE coated wire.
In order to reinforce the structure, all mesh panel edges are selvedged with a wire having a greater diameter.
The wire used by our factory for the manufacture of the sack gabion shall meet the customer's specific requirements in terms of its tensile strength, elongation, zinc coating and adhesion of the zinc coating to the wire.
